Job summary

Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort, part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, is seeking a courteous House Attendant to maintain clean, safe spaces for guests and staff. You will stock linen closets, assist room attendants, and help with linen and supply runs throughout the property.

This on-site role requires a proactive, team player who can lift up to 100 lbs, stand for extended periods, and communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Self-starting attitude with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Willing to pitch-in and help co-workers; be a team player.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment; stand for extended periods; lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies to room attendants.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors; polish mirrors and door numbers.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
• Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
