Job Description

Come join the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa and its family within the Housekeeping Department! Please apply, we'd love to meet you!

*This is a seasonal position with an anticipated start date of April 15, 2025, and an end date of September 15, 2025.

Responsibilities
  1. Complete an average of 12 credits daily (this may be reduced to 11 credits in the summer based on business mix and occupancy).
  2. Keep assigned carts and closets well organized.
  3. Document time in and out of each room.
  4. Punch in the updated room status of each room.
  5. VD = the room is vacant and dirty.
  6. VC = the room is cleaned but not ready for occupancy. It needs further inspection.
  7. VI = you have cleaned and inspected your room. It is ready for occupancy by the guest. (This code only for use by authorized Room Attendants who have a high score of their room inspections)
  8. OC=occupied clean
  9. Clean rooms to Omni standard ensuring each room is complete and ready for a guest and/or VIP to occupy.
  10. Help other room Attendants when asked by supervisor.
  11. Report all discrepancies in room status to supervisor or call into Desk.
  12. Sweep patios.
  13. Follow Lost and Found Procedures. Report all items left behind by guests to the Housekeeping Coordinator. Leave the item in the room for pickup by Loss Prevention. Never remove an item that is left behind in a guest room unless told to do so by a Supervisor, Manager or Coordinator. Please stay with valuable items until the item is picked up by Loss Prevention. If you are uncertain if an item you find is a lost and found item, ensure that you ask a Manager. Ensure all other Lost and Found procedures are followed.
  14. And overall we ask to have fun within the workplace!
Qualifications
  1. Previous hotel experience and bilingual, English and Spanish preferred.

Pay Rate: $23.30/HR
