The Boca Renaissance is seeking Room Attendants to join their team in a newly renovated property!

Job Overview

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and a welcoming atmosphere in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. They play a key role in guest satisfaction and experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Clean and tidy guest rooms according to standards, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and making beds.
  2. Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, surfaces, and amenities.
  3. Dust and wipe furniture, surfaces, and decorative items.
  4. Refill supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
  5. Empty trash bins and replace liners.
  6. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in guest rooms and public spaces.
  7. Identify and report maintenance or repair needs.
  8. Report lost items to the supervisor.
  9. Interact professionally with guests, responding to requests and inquiries.
  10. Follow privacy and security procedures to respect guests' privacy and maintain security standards.
Skills and Abilities
  1. Previous experience in housekeeping or related role is a plus.
  2. Attention to detail and knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
  3. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  4. Strong communication skills.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort

Physical work involves standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in an interior hotel environment with exposure to temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, odors, and loud noises. Safety precautions and protective equipment are required.
