Job Description Summary: The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver Sonesta Service according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints, ensuring satisfaction.
• Clean and service rooms and areas per standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc.
• Notify supervisor upon completion or if a room cannot be serviced.
• If assigned to laundry, monitor supplies and operate washers/dryers, inspect linens, and report damages.
• Minimize waste and assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Handle lost and found items.
• Promote teamwork and ensure safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in extended stay industry beneficial.
• English fluency preferred; other languages a plus.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, lift up to 75 pounds, and work with cleaning chemicals.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
