A Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. Duties include servicing guest rooms daily according to hotel procedures, stocking carts with supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities while following company standards and safety procedures. The role may also involve conducting deep cleaning activities in guest rooms alongside preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills with guests and team members, both verbal and written.
• Ability to convey information clearly and evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work well under stress and high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

• Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance as per Aimbridge Hospitality standards, with scheduling varying based on hotel needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
• Comply with all Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including preparing the housekeeping cart with supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
• Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
• May need to disassemble furniture or items for deep cleaning activities, such as changing filters, cleaning coils, touch-up painting, or repairing furniture.
