Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest room areas according to company procedures and standards.

Essential Job Functions

1. Stocks housekeeping cart to ensure sufficient cleaning supplies and amenities are available.
2. Knocks and waits before entering a guest room.
3. Cleans assigned guest rooms, stocks amenities, and completes the housekeeping checklist.
4. Marks clean rooms for supervisor inspection.
5. Reports damages or hazards in guest rooms.
6. Secures guest room doors upon exiting.
7. Keeps corridors and service areas tidy.
8. Returns lost and found items and guest room keys.
9. Follows all company policies, safety, and security procedures.
10. Knows fire prevention and emergency procedures.
11. Uses protective equipment as required.
12. Reports unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
13. Maintains a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
14. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
15. Assists fellow housekeeping staff when needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to bend, reach, dust, and make beds and bathrooms.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and left-behind belongings.
• Use written communication to document completed rooms.
• Perform cleaning duties efficiently with hands and arms.

Physical Demands

• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
