Job description

The Boar's Head Resort is seeking full-time Room Attendants! As a Room Attendant, you will support our Operations team by performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing. Room Attendants are essential to our 4 Diamond property by ensuring that all guest rooms and areas are cleaned and set according to the Boar's Head standards.

Some essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Clean and reset all vacant guest rooms following each day's schedule board, including:
  • Washing linens
  • Making beds
  • Dusting furniture
  • Mopping floors
  • Cleaning bathrooms
  • Restocking amenities
  • Trash disposal
• Double check the rooms utilizing a list of standards for all rooms reset.
• Ensure safety of all guests private and confidential information and personal items.
• Report any faulty utilities or damage to rooms to supervisor and maintenance facility.
• Clean guest areas, banquet rooms, hallways, lobbies, etc. as needed.
• Contribute to overall resort team goals by completing additional duties as assigned.

In order to be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve daily room resetting goals.
• Ability to work 5-7 days per week, in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to clean up to 16 guest rooms per day.
• Proven ability to:
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Prioritize and organize.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understand guest's service needs and solve them proactively.
• Previous experience in Housekeeping, preferably at a Forbes rated or AAA 4 Diamond property is desirable.
