Job description

Room Attendant / Housekeeper - Hotel FT - $20.73 hr.

As a Room Attendant – you’ll make sure our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests after a busy day at work – creating a haven for them to escape and relax in or get a bit of last-minute work done.

Key Accountabilities

1. You’ll ensure our rooms meet high standards and are memorable for guests.
2. Assist guests with needs such as toiletries or directions.
3. Update your supervisor on room service status and report repairs.
4. Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment when needed.
5. Manage supplies efficiently to minimize waste.
6. Log and reunite lost items with owners.
7. Maintain a professional appearance in your uniform.
8. Perform ad-hoc duties as required, including deep cleaning and turndown services.
9. Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality service.

Key Skills & Experiences

1. Physical stamina and fitness for a role on your feet most of the day.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending/kneeling tasks.
3. Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
4. Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The hourly pay range for this role is $20.73 to $22.00. This applies to Torrance, CA. Pay may vary based on experience and other factors.
