Ithaca Marriott Downtown on the Commons is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms according to standards and timelines. You will greet guests warmly and ensure rooms meet quality expectations, while handling housekeeping tasks and supporting the lobby area when needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and housekeeping experience, with strong English communication. The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive wages and benefits.

Formación

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly welcome.
• Clean guest rooms within standards and allotted time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust surfaces.
• Notify managers about repairs needed in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms per lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment and follow MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
