Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Downtown/Old Market Area is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to exacting standards, ensuring comfort and satisfaction for guests. The role emphasizes warm guest interaction, timely cleaning, linen changes, and attention to safety and policy compliance.

The position supports a range of housekeeping tasks, including lobby duties when needed, and offers opportunities within a growth path toward supervisory roles within the hotel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms to standards within allotted time: sweep, mop, scrub or vacuum.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Polish furniture and fixtures; dust walls, furniture, equipment.
• Notify managers about repairs in guest rooms.
• Process items left in rooms per lost and found policy.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE and comply with MSDS/OSHA.
• Perform house person and lobby duties when short-staffed.
• Aim to improve guest satisfaction scores and overall service.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Focus

• Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background And Skills

• High School diploma preferred.
