Overview

As a Room Attendant, your primary responsibility is to clean and maintain guest rooms to ensure they meet Hyatt Place standards.

Your Growth Path

Potential career progression includes roles such as Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Executive Housekeeper.

Your Focus

• Greet guests warmly and courteously.
• Clean guest rooms efficiently by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Polish furniture and fixtures; dust surfaces and equipment.
• Report repairs needed in guest rooms to management.
• Handle guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policies.
• Follow sustainability practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform additional duties such as house person and lobby attendant tasks when needed.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve guest experiences.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Your Background And Skills

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
