Job summary

HHM Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to high standards. The role involves friendly guest interactions, changing linens, replenishing supplies, and reporting maintenance needs.

You will be expected to work efficiently within time frames, assist during peak periods, and contribute to overall guest satisfaction. Prior housekeeping experience and English communication are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms to standards within allotted time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Dust furniture, walls and fixtures; clean and polish furniture.
• Notify managers about repairs needed in guest rooms.
• Handle guest items left in rooms per lost and found policy.
• Follow safe work habits, wear proper safety gear and follow MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform housekeeping and lobby duties when short-staffed or during peak periods.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve departmental and overall satisfaction.
• Ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing and pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds and use of cleaning chemicals.
