Job Description

Responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of the guest rooms and surrounding corridors. Courteously and pleasantly, respond to the guest's needs and requests to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.

The Job Is Simple

  • Adhere to all Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. and property specific brand standards.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, reporting deficiencies to maintenance, and all out of order equipment.
  • Make beds neatly with fresh linens. Pick up trash, clean mirrors and shelves, wipe doorframes and furniture, dust fixtures, windowsills, and baseboards, and arrange furniture properly.
  • Responsible for the hallway in front of the room. Deep clean one room daily.
  • Cleans bathrooms thoroughly, disinfect surfaces, and replenish supplies.
  • Vacuums each room and hallway.
  • Reports all room statuses and discrepancies to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and environment.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures.
  • Responsible for guest, staff, and hotel asset security.
  • Perform any additional duties as requested by management to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Keep business functions confidential.
