Job summary

HHM Hotels is hiring a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to established standards. You will greet guests, change linens, polish fixtures, and report repairs as needed, working within time frames to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Previous housekeeping experience preferred and English communication required. The role may be full-time or part-time with a schedule that includes holidays and weekends, and comes with benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms to standards within allotted time.

• Notify managers about repairs needed in rooms.
• Process guests' left items according to lost and found policy.
• Follow safety OSHA/MSDS procedures.
• Perform houseperson and lobby duties during peak times.
• Aim to improve overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Focus

• Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High School diploma preferred.

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, and weekends.
