Qualifications

• Genuine and friendly approach to guest interactions.
• Able to collaborate with teammates and other departments.
• Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Able to interact with guests in a friendly manner.
• English fluency may not be required, but able to direct guests to someone who can assist.
• Friendly demeanor – a smile when passing a guest is a great communication skill.
• Safety awareness and ability to report hazards.
• Attention to detail and immaculate cleanliness in each room.
• Self-motivated to complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
• Able to manage time and prioritize tasks to finish rooms on schedule.
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position (lifting, bending, etc.).
• Pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, and being on your feet.
• Basic understanding of cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Understanding of safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, dust, remove trash, clean bathrooms, and make beds to hotel standards.
• Clean each room to hotel cleanliness expectations.
• Move between rooms while staying on your feet and completing tasks efficiently.
