POSITION SUMMARY:

To clean all areas of the hotel thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the guest experience by maintaining excellent standards of hotel cleanliness. Responsible for reporting any maintenance problems, handling guest requests or complaints, and ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

Responsibilities

1. Clean and disinfect assigned guestrooms including bathrooms.
2. Dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture; make beds and change sheets; sweep, mop, and wash floors; pick up debris and empty trash containers.
3. Spot clean walls and doors as required.
4. Tidy guest's personal belongings as required.
5. Clean public spaces as needed.
6. Restock towels and supplies in rooms, including replacing facial tissues, toilet paper, and bathroom amenities in the correct amounts and locations.
7. Use appropriate cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, following OSHA regulations and safety standards.
8. Maintain knowledge of proper maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment only as intended.
9. Keep cart and linen rooms safe and organized.
10. Report all maintenance issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
11. Manage assigned keys responsibly.
12. Turn in all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office for logging.
13. Follow all company policies, safety, and sanitation procedures, working safely when handling heavy loads or soiled linens, including using PPE.
14. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
15. Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
16. Understand hotel emergency procedures.
17. May work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
18. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management, with responsibilities adjusted based on business needs.
