Job summary

True North Hotel Group is seeking a Room Attendant to join our team at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Moscow, ID. The role involves assisting housekeeping, upkeeping floors and public areas, and helping with linen handling to ensure guest satisfaction.

The position requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endurance for extended periods; relevant certifications per local codes are preferred and hospitality experience is a plus. We look forward to hearing from you!

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping.
• Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for an extended period of time.
• Required certifications and training for TIPS, ServSafe, health department and other required organizations according to local codes.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting all housekeeping personnel in the performance of heavy-duty work as directed by the Senior Housekeeper.
• Maintain the cleanliness of floors, fireplaces, ovens, elevators and landings, linen closets, guest laundry, exercise room, employee lounge and other public areas.
• Assist with the removal and cleaning of soiled linens.
