Job summary

InterContinental San Francisco is hiring a Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You will clean, refresh, and present rooms to the highest standards, assist guests, and report any maintenance needs.

A physically active role with lifting up to 50 lbs is required, plus the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive pay and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year in the same or similar role.
• Ability to perform a physically active role, standing most of the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and push/pull heavy items.
• Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean, refresh, and present guest rooms and suites to high standards to create a great guest experience.
• Assist guests with requests and provide directions as needed.
• Inform supervisor of room status and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE when required.
• Monitor supplies and amenities while minimizing waste.
• Log and safely store lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
• Wear uniform professionally and represent the hotel with pride.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with deep-cleaning and turndown service as needed.
• Support the team with additional duties and special projects.
