Job Description Summary: The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

1. Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
2. Respond to guest complaints and requests, ensuring satisfaction.
3. Clean and service assigned rooms or areas following established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash.
4. Notify supervisor upon completion of service and report any issues.
5. If assigned to laundry, monitor supplies, operate washers/dryers, inspect linens, and report damages.
6. Minimize waste of supplies and amenities.
7. Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
8. Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
9. Handle lost and found items according to procedures.
10. Promote teamwork and communication.
11. Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
2. Experience in extended stay industry beneficial.
3. Fluent English preferred; additional languages beneficial.
4. Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
5. Ability to stand, bend, climb, and move about frequently.
6. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
7. Use of cleaning chemicals required.
8. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
