Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Room Attendants to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Amherst, NY. Our hotel offers spacious suites with full kitchens, ideal for extended stays, located conveniently near local attractions and universities.

Responsibilities

1. Clean guest rooms and suites as assigned, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Tasks include cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms.
2. Report any discrepancies or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
3. Respond promptly to guest requests, providing excellent customer service.
4. Work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience preferred but not required; training available.
• Strong customer service skills and an engaging personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, navigate a cart up to 100 lbs., and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $16-$17 per hour.
