Job summary

Embassy Suites The Woodlands at Hughes Landing is seeking a hotel housekeeper to keep guest rooms clean and safe for guests, associates, and vendors. You will clean bathrooms, change linens, stock supplies, and report maintenance issues as part of a dedicated team.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with a focus on consistent, detail-oriented cleaning and professional communication with guests and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors.
• Strip beds, change linens, and handle bedspreads up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, pictures, shelves, and window ledges.
• Push and pull vacuum, empty trash, replenish amenities and linens.
• Sign for room keys and restock heavy cart; inspect rooms for cleanliness.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and attend to duty roster.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
