This position is responsible for ensuring that all hotel rooms are cleaned and prepared for our guests’ experience at the property. Rooms are assigned, and it is the responsibility of the team member to complete all cleaning and organizing tasks as assigned, prior to guest entry.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean hotel rooms and bathrooms according to department procedures
• Sort, count, fold, and carry linens for guest beds
• Stock housekeeping carts with supplies
• Replenish supplies in hotel rooms and bathrooms per hotel procedures
• Assist in the laundry room when needed to ensure availability of clean linens
• Dust furniture, wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, sills, and door panels
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to waste disposal area
• Report any problems immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Welcome Desk Supervisor
• Ensure lost and found items are logged and turned in
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Interact with guests occasionally while cleaning rooms
• Promote excellent customer relations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training, and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.

Certificates and Licenses

Must obtain and maintain necessary licensing as applicable.

Employees frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently, or more with assistance.
