Job summary

Harbor Winds Hotel in Sheboygan, managed by Adventure Hospitality, is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our growing team. This full-time role involves cleaning guest rooms to high standards and maintaining public areas to support an exceptional guest experience.

We offer health insurance, PTO, and team member discounts at Adventure Hospitality locations. Must be able to work weekdays and weekends from 8am to 5pm, lift over 50 lbs, and work independently while anticipating guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, taking out garbage, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Preparing rooms with amenities as per our standards.
• Cleaning of public areas, hallways, and stairs.
• Putting away and organizing linens, towels, and supplies as assigned.
• Keeping neat and organized housekeeping cart(s).
• Assisting with laundry washing and folding as needed.

Harbor Winds Hotel in Sheboygan, managed by Adventure Hospitality, is looking for a Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our talented and growing team. We are a family-run, growing company with two locations in Wisconsin. Our focus is on small boutique hotels where we love the craft of creating unique and memorable experiences for every guest.

Harbor Winds Hotel is a 26-room boutique hotel located on the riverfront in Sheboygan with even more exciting plans. This role is responsible for cleaning guest rooms to the highest level and efficiently to ensure rooms are ready for arrival guests. A clean room is a big part of making and cultivating the end-to-end guest experience so that they write 5-star reviews and have all their friends wanting to come to Harbor Winds.

Example of Responsibilities

• Cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, taking our garbage, sanitizing surfaces, sanitizing/cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Preparing rooms with amenities as per our standards,
• Cleaning of public areas, hallways, and stairs.
• Putting away and organizing linens, towels, and supplies as assigned.
• Keeping neat and organized housekeeping cart(s).
• Assisting with laundry washing and folding as needed.

Must be able to work weekdays and weekends on a consistent basis between the hours of 8am and 5pm, be able to lift over 50 lbs., constantly be on your feet, bend over and kneel to clean as required, be a self-starter, able to work alone, and be a step ahead of your managers and guests needs.
