Job Description Summary

The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all interactions, adhering to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints, ensuring satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms and areas per standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash.
• Notify supervisors upon completion of service or report issues preventing room readiness.
• If assigned to laundry, monitor supplies, operate washers/dryers, inspect linens, and report damages.
• Minimize waste of supplies and assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Handle lost and found items following procedures.
• Promote teamwork and maintain safety and health regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping preferred.
• Background in extended stay industry advantageous.
• Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Use of cleaning chemicals required.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Information

Pay range: $15-$17/hr, depending on experience and skills.
