The Jay, Autograph Collection in San Francisco is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to maintain immaculate guest rooms and public spaces. You will ensure safe and clean experiences for guests and colleagues, following established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and restocking supplies, with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction. The role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms overhead, and work in confined spaces.
• Must be a team player and assist coworkers as needed.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication; adapt style to audience.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors using cleaning tools and agents.
• Strip beds and remake with clean linens; may involve lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, pictures, shelves and window ledges.
• Vacuum room and empty trash; restock amenities and linens.
• Handle keys, restock carts, and verify room readiness.

No**Overview**Maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.* Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.* Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.* Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.* Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.* Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.* Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
