Job summary

SpringHill Suites Romulus is seeking a Room Attendant to join the housekeeping team. You will clean guest rooms, restock amenities, and ensure high standards of cleanliness to guarantee a comfortable stay for guests.

Responsibilities include responding to guest requests, reporting maintenance issues promptly, and maintaining organized carts and storage areas. The role requires physical stamina and flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hotels preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

• Clean and refresh guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Restock amenities, linens, and towels according to hotel standards.
• Ensure all rooms meet AC Hotel brand cleanliness expectations before guest arrival.
• Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the appropriate department.
• Respond to guest requests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.
