Job summary

Peachtree Group in Michigan seeks a Room Attendant to own daily housekeeping operations and service guest rooms to hotel standards. You will communicate with guests and housekeeping staff, schedule tasks, and ensure clean, comfortable rooms while upholding established procedures and brand standards.

You will work with a team to maintain clean common areas, assist guests with requests, report damages, and participate in laundry duties.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including
• Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
• Perform laundry duties as necessary
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
• Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager

Job description

The

Room Attendant

will be responsible for the daily ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department. Room attendants must be comfortable communicating with guests they encounter, as well as the Housekeeping staff to efficiently service guest rooms. Teamwork among all housekeeping staff, as well as the ability to perform the daily tasks required for the position, form the foundation on which each individual is able to develop and succeed within the department.
