Job summary

The TownePlace Suites Dallas Rockwall is seeking a Room Attendant to manage daily housekeeping tasks and maintain guest room standards. You will communicate with guests and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities include cleaning rooms, maintaining common areas, and assisting guests with requests while upholding hotel standards and teamwork within the housekeeping department.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with guests and staff to coordinate room service and housekeeping tasks.
• Strong teamwork skills to coordinate with housekeeping team for efficient room turnover.
• Ability to provide friendly and proactive customer service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms according to hotel standards.
• Clean and arrange guest rooms for arrival.
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel.
• Perform laundry duties as necessary.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms.
• Ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary.
• Report damages or repairs to management.
• Report lost and found items to Housekeeping Manager.

Job description

The Room Attendant will be responsible for the daily ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department. Room attendants must be comfortable communicating with guests they encounter, as well as the Housekeeping staff to efficiently service guest rooms. Teamwork among all housekeeping staff, as well as the ability to perform the daily tasks required for the position, form the foundation on which each individual is able to develop and succeed within the department.

• Cleaning and servicing assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including
• Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
• Perform laundry duties as necessary
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
• Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager
