EVEN Hotel Rockville-Washington D.C. Area is seeking a diligent Room Attendant to join our on-site team. The role involves maintaining guest rooms and building cleanliness to provide a safe, comfortable experience for guests, associates, and vendors.

Both part-time and full-time options are available, with a focus on weekend and holiday coverage. Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms and rooms, changing linens, restocking supplies, and adhering to safety and cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms overhead, and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to pitch in and help coworkers as needed.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Strip and make beds, change linens up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, windows, and shelves; vacuum and empty trash.
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies; sign for room keys and restock heavy cart.
• Ensure rooms meet cleanliness and appearance standards; report completion.

As our Room Attendant, you will maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.* Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.* Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.* Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.* Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.* Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.* Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
