Job summary

EVEN Hotel Rockville is seeking a Room Attendant to join our wellness-focused team. You will maintain guest rooms and building areas to ensure a safe and clean experience for guests, associates, and vendors, with flexible PT or FT schedules.

Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities, and handling room keys while upholding service standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with a flexible approach to work.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning agents.
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces.
• Strip beds and change bed linens, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, shelves, and window ledges.
• Vacuum rooms, replenish amenities, sign for room keys, and restock cart.
• Ensure room cleanliness and report completion to supervisor.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

As our Room Attendant, you will maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
