Job summary

Chico Hot Springs Resort is seeking a diligent housekeeping team member to clean guest rooms and common areas, manage laundry tasks, and restock supplies daily. The role requires knowledge of property, strict safety protocols, and adherence to dress and hygiene standards.

Applicants should be able to navigate stairs, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in heat while using protective gear. This on-site position emphasizes a positive attitude, reliability, and capacity to perform a variety of duties

Qualifications

• Able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel and squat.
• Able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work with full use of both hands.
• Able to understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Able to work in heat over 80 degrees F.
• Exposed to cleaning products, laundry products and chemicals.
• Able to work exposed to natural elements (wind, sun, rain, heat, cold).
• Able to go up and down stairs with and without carrying items.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Able to work with protective eyewear, latex gloves.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of guest rooms and hotel common areas.
• Responsible for laundry services, including operating machines and folding.
• Daily re-supply/stocking carts and supply closets.
• Knows Chico Hot Springs history and property.
• Keep housekeeping areas and vehicles clean.
• Report to housekeeping office at end of each shift.
• Follow Chico’s Safety and Sanitation standards.
• Adhere to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Other duties as assigned
