Job summary

Staypineapple in Portland, OR is seeking a Room Attendant to uphold our high housekeeping standards across guest rooms, corridors, and public areas, ensuring everything is clean, fresh, and welcoming for every guest.

Responsibilities include cleaning assigned rooms within the allotted time, changing beds, dusting, replenishing towels and supplies, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and mopping, plus keeping storage areas secure and neat.

Qualifications

• One month of related experience preferred.
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic.
• Proficient at fulfilling requests in a thorough and timely manner.
• Ability to learn quickly and take direction.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

Our Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, corridors and guest related areas are crazy clean and kept up to impeccable Staypineapple standards. They also maintain the cleanliness of service areas, linen closets and employee areas.

What to expect:

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

• Cleaning public areas and assigned rooms within allotted time according to hotel standards including changing beds, dusting furniture, replenishing towels and guest supplies, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping.
• Ensuring that corridors are free of all debris, room service trays, etc.
• Ensuring that housekeeping storage rooms and housekeeping closets are secure, neat and clean.
• Preventing loss and damage to hotel supplies, property and the guests' property by ensuring that guest rooms and carts are secure.
