Essential Job Functions

- Stock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies and amenities.
- Observe knocking procedures before entering guest rooms.
- Clean assigned guest rooms, stock amenities, and complete checklists.
- Mark rooms as clean for supervisor inspection.
- Report damages or hazards in guest rooms.
- Secure guest room doors upon exit.
- Maintain cleanliness in corridors and service areas.
- Return lost and found items and guest keys.
- Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures.
- Know fire prevention and emergency protocols.
- Use protective equipment properly.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or property issues.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance per handbook standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Assist fellow housekeeping staff as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to bend, reach, dust, and make beds and bathrooms.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and left-behind items.
- Use written communication to document work.
- Perform cleaning duties with quick, coordinated movements.
Physical Demands
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent twisting, bending, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
