Description

Mission of the Role:

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Cleans and returns vacant dirty rooms to a clean status. Cleaning includes: light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, furniture, windows and window coverings, floors and carpets, changing linens and replenishing amenities.
2. Stay over service to be completed for all rooms daily.
3. Keep cart stocked and organized.
4. Assist with special cleaning projects and with laundry as needed.
5. Communicate maintenance needs.
6. Ability to interact with guests in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner. Report any guest complaints to a supervisor immediately.
7. The timely report of and return of lost and found items for processing.
8. Follow all key control procedures.
9. Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Able to carry and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $14.50/Hr. - $14.50/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
