Job Overview

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms and providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities
  1. Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to established standards.
  2. Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping carts.
  3. Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
  4. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
  5. Restock housekeeping carts for the next day.
  6. Replenish chemical bottles as needed.
  7. Report missing items from rooms (e.g., irons, hairdryers) to supervisor/manager.
  8. Report maintenance issues immediately to supervisor/manager.
  9. Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
  10. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
