Job summary

Appone is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms. The role involves making beds with fresh linens, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and ensuring rooms are inviting for guests.

You will also greet guests, handle special requests, and report any needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervision. This position emphasizes a courteous, customer-focused approach and teamwork with the hotel staff.

Responsibilities

• Makes beds with clean linen
• Cleans kitchens and sitting area and replenishes supplies
• Moves furniture and vacuums carpets
• Sweeps and scrubs floors
• Dusts furniture and fixtures
• Washes walls, ceilings and woodwork
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills
• Empties wastebaskets and empties removes trash
• Cleans bathrooms and replenishes supplies
• Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures
• Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions
• Greet and acknowledge guests
• Perform other duties as assigned; including guest room tours, special guest requests, etc.

Room Attendants are essential to ensuring guest rooms are inviting, clean and comfortable. Room Attendant's play a critical role in making sure rooms are fully stocked, cleaned and serviced to a high standard. They promote a positive image of the property, are friendly and able to address problems or special requests quickly.
