Job summary

Peregrine TH Management, LLC in Los Gatos, California is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms while delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.

This role supports our resort’s Service culture, performs cleaning duties, restocks supplies, and reports maintenance issues as needed; flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required. You will stand for long shifts and comply with safety and uniform standards.

• Experience in a resort or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and attractive guestrooms according to standards.
• Thoroughly clean guestrooms and restock supplies for housekeeping cart setup.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Restock cleaning supplies and replenish chemical bottles.
• Adhere to safety rules, uniform standards, and resort policies.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Job description

Pay Range: $22.00 to $22.50/hour DOE

Position Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.

Essential Functions

• Must adhere to the company’s Service culture - 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
• Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and patios.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed (if applicable).
• Restock housekeeping golf cart with cleaning supplies.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards.
• Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a resort or a related field preferred.

Working Conditions and Schedule

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required including nights, weekends or holidays.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Required to stand, walk, climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, and bend (fold, organize, scrub, etc.)
• May have exposure to chemicals.
