Job Summary

A Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. Duties include servicing guest rooms daily according to hotel procedures, stocking carts with supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room supplies while adhering to company standards and safety/security procedures.

Available Shifts

Part-time: 3pm-11pm

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, or experience in a hotel or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
• Effective listening and understanding skills to address concerns of coworkers and guests.

Job Duties & Functions

• Approach all guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance as per hotel scheduling needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
• Follow all safety and operational standards.
• Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms per shift.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties and set up housekeeping carts.
• Remove trash and dirty linens from rooms.
• Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Prepare housekeeping carts for the next day.
• Clean rooms with doors closed unless requested otherwise.
• Report missing items and maintenance issues promptly.
• Handle lost and found items according to standards.
• Follow all procedures outlined by management.
• Perform other duties as required.

Working Conditions
