Job summary

Peachtree Group in Jackson, TN seeks a Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and assist guests, ensuring cleanliness and high service standards.

You will work with housekeeping staff to perform daily tasks, restock supplies, handle laundry, and report damages.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or guest-facing roles is helpful.
• Must be able to communicate with guests and staff clearly.
• Ability to work as part of a team to complete daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms according to standards.
• Prepare rooms for guest arrival and ensure room is hotel-ready.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas per standards.
• Perform laundry duties as needed.
• Stock and organize housekeeping supply rooms.
• Provide high level of customer service to guests at all times.
• Assist guests with requests and questions.
• Report damages or repairs to management.
• Report lost and found items to Housekeeping Manager.

Job description

The Room Attendant will be responsible for the daily ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department. Room attendants must be comfortable communicating with guests they encounter, as well as the Housekeeping staff to efficiently service guest rooms. Teamwork among all housekeeping staff, as well as the ability to perform the daily tasks required for the position, form the foundation on which each individual is able to develop and succeed within the department.

• Cleaning and servicing assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including
• Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
• Perform laundry duties as necessary
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
• Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager
