Description

The Room Attendant will maintain a spotless and orderly environment throughout the hotel, ensuring all spaces are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities

1. Make beds in guest rooms and replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom supplies.
2. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
3. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
4. Dust furniture and equipment.
5. Polish metal fixtures and fittings.
6. Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
7. Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport trash to disposal area.
8. Replace light bulbs.
9. Collect soiled linens for laundering, receive, and store linen supplies.
10. Load articles into washer, add cleaning agents, and operate washing and drying cycles.
11. Sort dried articles, fold, and store appropriately.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Position Details

This is an hourly position at $16 per hour.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a background check prior to employment.
