Makeready and Moran Hotel in Houston's CITYCENTRE invite you to join our housekeeping team as a Room Attendant. You will help keep guest rooms pristine by handling towels and linens, sorting laundry, and ensuring comforts are ready for guests to enjoy.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and a guest-first approach as you support daily hotel operations at the Moran Hotel in Houston. Prior housekeeping experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for inspecting linens and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• A friendly, approachable disposition helps deliver exceptional guest service.
• Teamwork is required to coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel staff.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold towels, sheets, duvets and pillowcases.
• Collect guest laundry from bins and chutes and ensure proper handling.
• Check items for damage or stains and address issues as needed.
• Operate washing machines, dryers and ironing equipment.
• Neatly fold, count and restock inventory for guest rooms.
• Report any equipment problems to maintain operations.

The Room Attendantis one of the behind the scene team members that plays an essential role in the properties operation to ensure that all linens are clean and ready for the guest to relax and unwind. This team members’ primary role includes sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding towels, sheets, duvets, and pillowcases.

Requested Tasks

• Collect guest laundry from bins and chutes
• Check all items for damage or stains and take appropriate action to rectify issues
• Place and remove items from washing machines, dryers and/or feed the ironer
• Neatly folds, count and re-stock inventory for guest rooms
• Report any technical problems or deficiencies to maintain equipment functioning
