Job summary

Half Moon Bay Lodge in Half Moon Bay, CA is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and support the housekeeping team.

You will clean rooms to standards, restock amenities, report maintenance issues, and follow safety procedures. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Able to work efficiently while upholding safety
• Reliable and responsible with a solid work ethic
• Effective communication with guests and team members
• Comfortable following procedures and guidelines
• Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties (lift up to 20 lbs)

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms to Company standards
• Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms, wipe surfaces and walls
• Complete rooms efficiently within established time guidelines while maintaining quality
• Restock guest room amenities according to Company standards
• Report maintenance issues or items requiring immediate attention
• Report any damage, missing items, or guest belongings found in rooms to the appropriate manager
• Follow all lost-and-found procedures
• Maintain security of assigned master room keys and return them at shift end
• Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed
• Communicate professionally with guests, managers, and team members
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized housekeeping environment
• Support other hotel departments as needed

Located less than a mile from the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Half Moon Bay, Half Moon Bay Lodge is a charming coastal retreat with hacienda-style architecture and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The 80-room property features spacious accommodations, an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, fire pit and lounge areas, complimentary breakfast, fitness center and sauna, and easy access to Half Moon Bay Golf Links. With 3,600 square feet of flexible event space and a location close to beaches, coastal trails, golf, and downtown Half Moon Bay, the Lodge offers a comfortable home base for both leisure and group stays.

THE ROLE

As a Room Attendant, you'll play an essential role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay for every guest. You'll take pride in the details, keeping guest rooms and assigned areas to our standards while working efficiently and safely as part of the Housekeeping team. You will:

• Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms to Company standards

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized Housekeeping environment
• Support other team members and hotel departments as needed

• Ability to frequently walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
