Overview

The Room Attendant maintains clean and attractive guestrooms, providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities
  1. Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
  2. Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
  3. Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
  4. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
  5. Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day.
  6. Replenish chemical bottles.
  7. Report missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  8. Report maintenance issues immediately.
  9. Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
  10. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field experience preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, friendly and courteous demeanor.
Salary Range

$17.50/hr - $18.00/hr
