Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas to hotel standards.
• Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and ensure readiness.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas and lobby restrooms.
• Perform laundry duties as necessary.
• Stock and manage housekeeping supplies.
• Provide excellent guest service and assist with guest requests.
• Report damages or repairs to management.
• Report lost and found items to Housekeeping Manager.

Job description

• Pay or shift range: $20 USD to $25 USD

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

The Room Attendant is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring the efficient execution of housekeeping services. This role requires strong communication skills to interact with guests and coordinate with housekeeping staff to maintain guest rooms and public spaces. Success in this position is built on teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to perform essential daily tasks, contributing to both individual and departmental growth.

• Cleaning and servicing assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including


• Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival


• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel


• Perform laundry duties as necessary


• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms


• Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times


• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary


• Report any damages or repairs needed to management


• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager


• Provide great customer service to our guests by giving directions, making recommendations, or answering other questions they may have


• Ensuring cleanliness of lobby restrooms by mopping, dusting, refilling paper needs, and replenishing soaps


• Collecting and properly disposing of hotel garbage and recycling


• Delivering towels, toiletries, or other items to guest rooms as needed
