Overview

The Room Attendant maintains clean, attractive guestrooms and provides attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests.

Responsibilities

1. Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
2. Complete pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
3. Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
4. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean and vacuumed.
5. Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day.
6. Replenish chemical bottles.
7. Report missing items from rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
8. Report maintenance repairs immediately.
9. Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
10. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in a hotel or related field is a plus.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude.
