Overview

The Room Attendant maintains clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities

1. Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
2. Complete pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
3. Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
4. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
5. Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day.
6. Replenish chemical bottles.
7. Report missing items (e.g., irons, hair dryers) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
8. Report maintenance repairs immediately.
9. Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
10. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related experience preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; friendly, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $19/hr

Benefits include travel discounts, medical coverage (three tiers), dental, vision, supplemental benefits, and a 401(k) plan for eligible full-time and part-time staff. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
