Job summary

Bentley Legacy Group is seeking a housekeeper to maintain clean and welcoming guest rooms and public areas in our hotel. You will be responsible for bed making, linen changes, bathroom sanitization, and replenishing supplies to ensure guest comfort.

You will work with a friendly team, report maintenance needs, and adapt to a varied schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry and move 25-30 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift.
• Works well with little supervision while keeping high cleanliness and efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Available for a varied schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Able to communicate with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and employees with a smile.
• Make beds, change linens, sanitize guestrooms and bathrooms.
• Vacuum, sweep or mop floors as needed.
• Restock guest supplies (soap, shampoo, water, coffee).
• Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms.
• Clean public areas such as hallways, lobby and restrooms.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Occasionally perform deep cleaning tasks like AC coils and door rehanging.

Our housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our hotel for our guests and to help ensure they feel welcome and enjoy their stay. Tasks will involve cleaning public areas and guestrooms, including changing sheets, mopping floors and cleaning restrooms.

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Approach all guests and employees with a smile.
• Make beds, change linens, clean and sanitize guestrooms and bathrooms.
• Vacuum, sweep or mop floors as appropriate.
• Restock guest supplies such as soap, shampoo, bottles of water or coffee service.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Clean public areas such as hallways, lobby and public restrooms.
• Report any technical or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Perform other tasks / jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Intermittent "deep cleaning" tasks, including but not limited to cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and furniture, rehanging sliding doors, etc.
