Donohoe Hospitality Services is seeking a Room Attendant for Courtyard Chevy Chase to maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas. The role emphasizes meticulous cleaning, restocking amenities, and delivering a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and bend, stoop, and move continuously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and suites, including beds, bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and furniture arrangement.
• Replenish and restock room amenities (paper products, soap, towels).
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior entry areas and hallways.
• Restock and organize housekeeping carts daily.
• Administer key control for issued keys and manage keys left by guests.
• Deliver lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper for logging and storage.
• Report unusual situations in rooms to the Executive Housekeeper promptly.
• Handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests.
• Accommodate special guest requests.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms and suites.
• Keep linen closets and supply areas organized and tidy.
• Report maintenance needs and address guest requests or complaints promptly.

Salary range - $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (experience-based compensation)

Skills and Abilities

Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.

Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, as well as bend, stoop, and move continuously during the workday.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
