Job summary

Donohoe Hospitality Services is seeking a Room Attendant to ensure meticulous cleaning and preparation of guest rooms and suites. You will uphold high standards of cleanliness, organize amenities, and support guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking, handling keys securely, and addressing guest requests promptly, while maintaining privacy and safety across all rooms and corridors.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry and bend during the majority of the shift.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned rooms/suites according to standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Replenish room amenities such as toiletries, paper products, and towels.
• Maintain the cleanliness of exterior entryways and hallways.
• Stock and organize the housekeeping cart daily to ensure readiness.
• Manage issued room keys responsibly and follow proper key control procedures, including handling keys left by guests.
• Deliver lost and found items promptly to the Executive Housekeeper’s office for documentation and safekeeping.
• Immediately report any unusual conditions or concerns in guest rooms to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Respond to and fulfill special guest requests courteously and efficiently.
• Ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all guest rooms and suites.
• Keep linen closets and supply areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Report maintenance issues and assist in resolving guest complaints or concerns.

Additional Responsibilities

• Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
• The hotel operates 7 days a week. 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands, and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
