HAMPTON INN - BALTIMORE BAYVIEW CAMPUS is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and prepare guest rooms to brand standards and deliver a welcoming experience for guests. You will organize supplies, protect guest privacy, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel, hospital, residential, or care-facility environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Dependable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent guest service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, follow established procedures, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to learn and use job-related technology and communicate professionally with guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Clean vacant and occupied guest rooms thoroughly according to quality and productivity expectations.
• Make beds, replace linens and towels, clean bathrooms, dust, vacuum, remove trash, and replenish guest supplies.
• Follow established housekeeping procedures, training checklists, sanitation requirements, and periodic deep-cleaning schedules.
• Properly handle and organize linens, supplies, chemicals, and housekeeping equipment.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and promptly report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damages, or discrepancies.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or questions.
• Help maintain public areas, restrooms, stairwells, breakrooms, and back-of-house areas when assigned.
• Maintain guest privacy and follow all safety, security, key-control, and emergency procedures.
• Use required hotel systems and communication tools, such as Quore or Hotel Effectiveness.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance consistent with uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other related duties within the associate’s training and capabilities.

Physical and Scheduling Requirements
